I feel like it’s missing something.
The music playing loud
The windows unrolled
The smiles on our faces
Makes us feel infinite
No cares
No expectations
This road will never end for us
We are free
The taste of a last cigarette
The flash of fireflies
As they blend with the stars
We feel like we belong
Drive all night
Drive all day
We’ll sleep when we’re dead
We feel alive tonight
Past the endless fields of corn
Over rocky mountain majesty
Through blazing desert
To the blue pacific
Stretched endless in her glory
Shining like a bright new day
She sings a song of hope
We’ve reached our destination
Break the patterns your parents designed
See the world
Live the way you’ve always dreamed

I think that you are talking about too many things. I believe that if you simplify it, making it very captive and interesting, it will get your point across more. What is the message that you are trying to get across to your audience? Focus on that and build on that. Overall, I thought that it was very detailed, but you need to make some room and let the reader perhaps think about the different meanings of this poem and unmask the true meaning. Let the audience wondering a bit and interpret it in their own way. Kind of look at things in different perspectives. I think that that will make your poem more interesting and great.
